I took over the Missouri Senate at the Summer Meeting after Tim left for his National Jaycee Treasurer duties.

We had the Fifth Annual Tan-Tar-A weekend and were visited by North Central VP Leon Straub #18162 and his wife Karen. It was a fun-filled event with a big volleyball game (no one remembers who won). Winter Meeting was in Eureka. We had the best suite in the hotel as we had two floors; one was the Hospitality Room and the other was not used much for sleep. We had 60 people at the meeting and 40 for the luncheon. I think this was the start of getting the organization going again after a brief lull.
